dsDES!GNED is the web and graphic design services of Demond Spencer
I have spent many years in the Information Technologies business. It all began when I started taking inbound telephone calls for fare and scheduling at Greyhound Lines, Inc. From there I became inamored with the field of technology support. I was soon promoted to a Helpdesk for software and field support until I advanced to become a software and hardware support technician.
During the advancement of my technologies career, I was able to attend many classes and workshops on PC software and hardware support to keep me focused and my skills sharp. However, my studies certainly never stop once I left the classroom. I have many self-taught abilities mostly learned through careful examination, apprenticeship and the ever hungry need to feed on self-education information.
With that being said,I soon grew weary of fixing hardware and software problems in a corporate environment and started looking to the future. It just so happened that I was laid off after eight years of service and it was at that point that I joined a well known all encompassing retail store with the black and white strips and I changed my career path. Meanwhile, still learning and taking classes on the ever growing web industry. Eventually I would find that I still enjoyed doing technical work as long as I could be creative, create my own work time and have fun while doing it!
Needless to say, the future is now and the large umbrella of web design has truely become a passion for me. Most recently, I decided to take some more web and graphic design courses at a local college so that I could really pursue this passion. Around the same time that I finished these courses, a close friend of mine, Douglas Saboe, asked me if I could update and revamp his website and I agreed. I created 'dsDES!GNED' as my web and graphic design business and he officially became my first client. The success of his website has opened the door for many more clients to seek the services of www.demondspencer.com.
I truely appreciate every client who uses my services and I support progress through community driven efforts. Let's grow together creatively.
